WIP Wednesday 10/5/11

Over the last week, I completed two gauge swatches for my socks, because the swatch with the suggested D hook was too big. I don't have a 3mm hook, so I used a C hook for the second swatch, and that was close enough.

So I began the toe of each sock on Monday, and I finished that section last night. Tonight at Panera craft group, I'll begin the foot of each sock. The stitches are teeny tiny, so I have to rest frequently, otherwise I get wrist fatigue and eye strain.

  1. My kids really want me to make socks for them. I guess I should give it a shot.

  2. It's fun! Try it! I recommend the book I Can't Believe I'm Crocheting Socks by Karen Ratto-Wooley if you're a crocheter.
