Crochet Project: Merry-Go-Round Baby Blanket

Last night I finished the Merry-Go-Round baby blanket for my friends. It took about 3 weeks to complete. The pattern is free. I used super-bulky Baby Clouds yarn - 3 1/2 skeins of the Peaceful Dreams colorway, and 3/4 skein of Serene Green, trying to math their nursery colors of purple and green. I used an N hook.

I love the star shape that emerged halfway through the pattern. This is the second project I've done using this yarn, and I still love it. It's warm and snuggly soft, but the open spaces in the pattern let it breathe.
