Crochet Project: Ripple Socks

Late Saturday night, I finished my Ripple socks. Yesterday, Hubby and a friend with wood-working tools made me a set of sock blockers, so I washed and blocked my socks last night. I think they turned out fabulous! I can't wait for some colder weather so I can wear them.

I crocheted my Ripple Socks following a pattern from I Can't Believe I'm Crocheting Socks by Karen Ratto-Whooley. Stay tuned for a review of this pattern book. Though the suggested hook size was a D, I needed a C hook to get gauge. I used 2 skeins of Premier Yarns Deborah Norville Serenity Sock yarn in the Harlequin colorway. I had less then a quarter of each skein leftover, because I didn't make the cuffs as tall as the pattern wanted.

  1. They turned out great! If you're in need of some cold weather, so you can wear these, I'll gladly send you some of ours. We're supposed to get rain and snow tomorrow. :-(
