Crochet Project: Mother's Day Hat

Before Mom went home from Charleston after helping us move in, we took her to It's A Stitch and told her to pick out some yarn. She chose Knit One Crochet Too Fleece yarn in color Blueberry Parfait and asked for a hat. Here's the result:


The yarn was boucle-like and difficult to work with at first. I had Hubby do the first few rounds, and then I finished the hat once the double crochet "spaces" were easier to feel. Mom received her Mother's Day package today and loves her hat. She was so thrilled with it she now wants a matching scarf! Love you, Mom!
