Crochet Project: Double Up 4 Vision Purse

I completed the purse I'm donating to the Double Up 4 Vision silent auction late last week. The purse is based on the free Mermaid Tears Purse pattern. The video tutorial series was very helpful at different points of the project, especially doing the handles. The bag and flower were crocheted with an H hook, and the handles were made with a G hook. I used Red Heart Soft yarn: 1.5 skeins of Teal, a small amount of Really Red, and about a quarter of a skein of Wheat. The body of the bag is made of crocodile stitches, which I really enjoyed making. It's the type of stitch that is easy, but looks super hard, so people think you are a crochet rock star! I want to make the pattern again, but make it bigger, like project bag size. It's double thick, so it doesn't need a lining, and it should hold a good amount of weight. I hope the purse gets some good bids at the silent auction...
