Crochet Project: Purple Throw

Today I finished the purple throw for my aunt. The lace pattern was a bit challenging at first, but I'd memorized it by about the halfway point. The stitches used - slip stitch, chain, single crochet, and double crochet, are easy. The thing I dislike most about the pattern were all the ends to weave in from the border, but I think it looks better with the border then without. It's one of those patterns with the wow factor - it looks harder then it really is. :-)

I used the free Spiders and Cobwebs pattern, with an H hook, and 1.5 skeins of Jo-Ann Sensations Rainbow Classic yarn in the Berry colorway, which is variegated shades of purple.
