Crochet Project: Tunisian CAL Squares: Month 1
There is a Tunisian CAL (crochet-a-long) that I'm participating in this year. The project can either be a totebag or a pillow. I'm making the pillow. For 9 months, you crochet two squares a month, then you assemble everything. January's squares are Tunisian simple stitch, so they were easy for me. For these squares, I used Vanna's Choice Baby in Goldfish and Sweet Pea, and I made them with a size I Tunisian hook. I was able to get gauge without changing hook sizes. Tunisian simple stitch has a tendency to curl, which is very apparent with these squares. I'd already washed and blocked them, and they still curled.
